Hotel

For the first time, the awards “The 101 best hotels in Switzerland, Austria, South Tyrol and Germany” were presented for the first time. Celebrities and business leaders attended the exclusive “101 Soirée” at The Dolder Grand in Zurich. The Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten in Hamburg was named Hotel of the Year and thus the overall transnational winner. Other hotels from northern Germany also picked up top titles.

Zurich/Hamburg – A touch of Hollywood pervaded Zurich‘s The Dolder Grand hotel yesterday when the winners of “The 101 Best Hotels Switzerland, Austria, South Tyrol and Germany 2024” were announced at the “101 Soirée”. Numerous celebrities such as Kai Pflaume, Andreas Caminada, Nelson Müller, Elisabeth Gürtler, Julia and Nina Meise, Irina Cerutti and extreme mountaineer Thomas Bubendorfer took part in the exclusive “101 Soirée”, while Heiko Nieder (2-star Michelin Guide) accompanied the evening with fine culinary creations. Hotel of the Year – overall winner (transnational) and thus also Best Hotel in Germany is the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten in Hamburg. The BUDERSAND Hotel – Golf & Spa – Sylt won the Luxury Design Hotel of the Year title and Severin‘s Resort & Spa on Sylt was named Luxury Spa & Health Resort of the Year.

Ingo Peters, General Manager of the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten in Hamburg, was very touched by the award. “The prestigious award fills us with great pride. Together with our great team, we are committed to offering our guests service par excellence day after day.”

“The ranking shows what great hotels the north of Germany has – especially in view of the strong competition in the four countries,” said Carsten K. Rath, who created the ranking together with his son David. “The 101 Best Hotels” is the first independent and relevant hotel ranking in the German-speaking world. In addition to the opinions of a board of trustees, various criteria are incorporated into the ratings – the IU International University of Munich determines the final winners with maximum transparency, objectivity and expertise. The “101 Iconic Hotelier of the Year” was also chosen for the first time using the same strict criteria. The title went to the charismatic Marco Zanolari, CEO of The Living Circle hotel group, which includes Widder Hotel, Storchen Zurich and Castello del Sole Beach Resort & Spa. “Marco Zanolari is a direct contact for guests like no other, knows how to motivate employees perfectly and creates added value for the company,” says Carsten K. Rath. The “101 Best Hotels in Germany” awards were presented for the fifth time last fall. Next year, the “101 Best Hotels in Switzerland” will also be honored. “I am very pleased about the award and feel honored,” says Marco Zanolari, “especially as ‘The 101 Best Hotels’ is now the ranking of all hotel rankings.” Frank Marrenbach, Managing Partner of Althoff Hotels, adds: “The ranking is well on its way to becoming the Michelin Guide of the hotel industry.”

Louisa’s Place combines the best of two worlds: the typical charm of Berlin’s Golden Age with contemporary luxury and first-class service.

Our privately run boutique hotel is located in the pulsating heart of West Berlin, directly on the legendary Kurfürstendamm. The outstanding quality of this individual hotel is its uniqueness. Instead of the usual units, it offers spacious rooms and suites ranging in size from 46 to 117 square meters. This exceeds the standards of conventional hotels by far. Discerning guests who appreciate not only luxury but also a private atmosphere and exclusive comforts will find their retreat here.

Louisa’s Place reveals itself as a classically elegant city palace that impresses with its attention to detail. From the library with its fine wood paneling to the garden room with its marble-framed fireplace and silk wallpaper, every corner exudes timeless elegance. Almost all the rooms & suites have separate sleeping and living areas, and some even offer additional amenities such as a private workroom, winter garden or balcony. Another absolute specialty is the fully equipped kitchen in all rooms – especially for long-term stays and families.

But what really sets Louisa’s Place apart from other hotels is its exceptional service. Here, hospitality is not a duty, it´s a passion. Every guest is looked after personally, from the handwritten welcome letter to individual assistance with shopping and other requests. The hotel exudes an atmosphere of exclusivity and warmth that makes every stay an unforgettable experience.

However Louisa’s Place also leaves nothing to be desired in terms of facilities. A private pool, sauna and steam bath, a gym and massage treatments ensure relaxation and well-being. A hairdressing salon, a trendy restaurant and the exciting Vesper Bar invite you to linger, while the small inner courtyard with garden is a green oasis in the middle of the vibrant capital.

Louisa’s Place Hotel combines the best of two worlds: the typical Berlin charm of an historic building paired with contemporary luxury and first-class service. The hotel’s host Sven Schimank and his internationally experienced team stand for professionalism, discretion and personal service at the highest level.

For fans of polo, Louisa’s Place Hotel is more than just a place to stay – it is a lifestyle statement. This is where tradition, present and future meet. Breathtaking views and vistas from cloud 9 – beautiful rooftops from Amsterdam to Venice

Berlin/London, 1. September 2022 (kms) – Late summer is approaching and with it, those balmy late summer evenings. Fittingly, three meteor showers will produce the greatest number of shooting stars in September. Up to 150 shooting stars per hour can lights up the sky and according to a legend, watching those make wishes come true. Is there any better location to experience this than the beautiful rooftop bars of Hilton in Europe? In these bars, you can enjoy the evening with a cool drink and perhaps you can also send some wishes to the sky.

Croatia: breathtaking view of the Adriatic Sea

A breathtaking view of the Adriatic Sea, cool drinks, and exquisite cuisine are offered by the Michellin-starred Nebo Restaurant & Lounge by Dani at Hilton Rijeka Costabella Beach Resort & Spa. Chef Deni Srdoč, who inherited his love of cooking from his grandmother, combines traditional Mediterranean with Croatian cuisine. But before heading to dinner, be sure to sip a craft cocktail, prepared by the expert team of mixologists while enjoying the endless view across the ocean.

Paris: In sight of the Eiffel Tower

Paris, city of lovers, city to fall in love with – and the Eiffel Tower always in view. From the Eylau’s rooftop bar at Canopy by Hilton Paris Trocadero, you can start the evening with sharing platters and creative cocktails such as „The Balance ton Mojito“ or local craft beers while enjoying the view of France’s charming capital. The hotel of the lifestyle brand Canopy by Hilton is located in the 16th district of Paris, the Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Elysees, and the Bois de Boulogne are less than ten minutes away. From the bar you can not only get a good view of the Eiffel Tower, one kilometer away, but you also might get the chance to count some shooting stars.

Cologne: 360 degree view of the metropolis at the Rhine

Where else could you gaze across Cologne’s night sky in more style and with more historical ties than at the new Wasserturm Hotel Cologne, Curio Collection by Hilton? The water tower was once the highest in Europe, and today the lobby is eleven meters above the ground. But the highlight is the Bar Botanik on the roof of the water tower. Not only is there a magnificent 360° view, but also there is a wide selection of different drinks, from traditional Kölsch to the hotel’s own Oriental Tea Time. In the unique atmosphere of a botanical greenhouse, where lush greenery meets industrial charm, it is a relaxed place to enjoy the evening, while listeling to cool lounge music from top live DJs.

Italy: Glamour view of Lake Como

Lake Como itself is exclusive already. Embedded in an impressive mountain panorama, its three arms flow together in the resort of Bellagio. Hilton Lake Como offers unparalled views of the lake and surrounding mountains. There is a roof-top infinity pool, so you can enjoy the breathtaking views while swimming or enjoying poolside snacks in the summer season. Terrazza 241 is also a magnificient outoor terrace to have breakfast above the rooftops of Como or start a glamorous evening with drinks and upscale dining.

Amsterdam: Enjoy after a day in the old town

Picturesque canals, houses steeped in history – DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Centraal Station is right on the doorstep of Amsterdam’s old town. Those arriving by train can explore the city on foot. The Royal Palace, the Museumsplein, the old church – everything is in the neighborhood. Back at the hotel in the evening, guest can admire panoramic views of the vibrant capital of The Netherlands. Sky Lounge Amsterdam, which has been elected as the best hotel bar of the city, is on the 11th floor of the hotel and offers cocktails like Sky Spritz or Summer Storm as well as light snacks like avocado with poached egg and seaweed or the classic Croque Monsieur.

London: A cocktail in honor of the ravens in the Tower

It’s considered London’s wildest rooftop bar: Savage Garden at DoubleTree by Hilton London – Tower of London. The iconic castle, which now houses the British crown jewels, is in the immediate vicinity and just a five-minute walk away. While it’s surrounded by pubs, the absolute highlight is atop the hotel itself: the Savage. According to the motto “A little party never killed anybody” – very special parties take place at the Savage. Special parties naturally include special drinks, such as St. Olave, where gin meets an ancient liqueur made by monks, or Raven Master, which was created in reference to the ravens in the Tower.

Venice: The best view of the historic city

Some things seem even more beautiful when viewed from afar, as if you were right in the middle of them: Hilton Molino Stucky Venice is located on the elongated Guidecca Island, which runs parallel to Venice’s main island. It is housed in a former flour mill that is considered Venice’s most important industrial monument. On the roof of the historic building, however, there’s not only a wonderful pool, but also the Skyline Bar, from which you can take in the panorama of the main island’s buildings steeped in history. The city is so close that you can still hear its heartbeat, but at the same time far enough away to perceive it as a whole. Skyline Bar is the highest bar in Venice where guests can treat themselves with delicious and creative cocktails prepared by expert mixologists while enjoying live music.

Prague: See the Old Town from Cloud Nine

Cloud Nine” is the name of Hilton Prague’s rooftop bar. 40 meters above the Vlatva River, not only one, but two roof top terraces offer a phenomenal view of the Old Town with St. Vitus Cathedral and Prague Castle. The entire city is virtually at the guests’ feet. It is especially beautiful in the blue hour, when the lights of the houses are turned on, but it is not yet so dark that you can no longer recognize the buildings. From Cloud Nine, enjoy the splendid views and cocktails, while soaking up the chic urban atmosphere. And if guests crave a snack accompanying the delicious drinks, they can choose from a variety of sharing platters, perfect for an evening together with friends.

Summer 2022 at Monte-Carlo beach is organic, beautiful and healthy – Chef Mélanie Serre arrives at Restaurant Elsa.

There’s a lot going on at Monte-Carlo Beach in summer 2022! The Elsa 100% organic and wild-caught fish restaurant, which wants to promote a new generation of gastronomy, is delighted to welcome chef Mélanie Serre from 11 May 2022. The talented 36-year-old, formerly Executive Chef of Joël Robuchon’s Atelier Etoile, will be able to develop her sincere, generous and flavoursome cuisine in line with the organic, local and seasonal spirit dear to the restaurant, which has been Ecocert certified since 2013. Monte-Carlo Beach, which has represented the stylish seaside venue since the 1930s, will also be revealing its new beach design, with fine sand and precious wood, and a new space for children in its legendary Olympic swimming pool. Finally, the hotel spa welcomes the luxury, ecological, ethical, organic and French skincare brand, PAOMA.

Mélanie Serre takes over the reins of Restaurant Elsa, offering “heartfelt cuisine”

Chef Mélanie Serre

Originally from the Ardèche region in France, Mélanie Serre developed a passion for cuisine from a very young age. She trained in prestigious establishments from the Eden Roc in St. Barts to Hôtel Métropole Monte-Carlo, which was her first encounter with Monaco, under the guidance of Christophe Cussac. In 2015 she landed her first job as chef at L’Atelier Étoile Paris, a restaurant with two Michelin stars, where she became Executive Chef one year later. In 2020 she spread her wings, joined the Parisian restaurant Louis Vins and won the Gault & Millau Young Talent prize. Cheerful, warm and passionate, her cuisine reflects her personality, focusing on the product, the harmony of flavours and colours, with generosity but without ostentation. She has a modern vision of gastronomy, favouring simplicity and a wealth of flavours. The intention is not to impress, but to create enjoyment!

“I’m delighted and very enthusiastic to come back to Monaco and to work with the talented team at Elsa and in close collaboration with exceptional local producers, such as Domaine d’Agerbol and Jardin des Antipodes. I particularly like all the work from field to fork, varying the inspirations around seasonal fruits and vegetables, completely enhancing the products, with respect and recognition for what the land and sea provide us,” comments Mélanie Serre.

“Monte-Carlo Beach is loyal to its approach combining organic and local produce and reducing waste for enhanced flavours, preserved health and authentic well-being by nature. Mélanie Serre won us over, just like she will delight the hearts and taste buds of Elsa customers, where the season promises to be rich in flavours and surprises!” adds Danièle Garcelon, General Manager of Monte-Carlo Beach.

To be enjoyed from 11 May, these three signature dishes in particular:

. Carrots with cumin, vegetable leaf pesto, orange and ginger juice
. Cockles and clams in cannelloni, lettuce velouté, Brousse goat’s cheese and Vermouth sauce
. Fillet of red mullet, potato gnocchi, peppery baby rocket and black garlic condiment

Monte-Carlo Beach, a paradise between the sea and the pine trees, reveals its new look

A villa on the seafront connected to nature, Monte-Carlo Beach is the stylish seaside venue par excellence, an unmissable stopover, both for club members and customers from all over the world. In 2021, the hotel revealed its new beach, in the image of its original 1930s’ beach, while protecting the site thanks to a positive biodiversity reef dyke. For the 2022 season, the beach unveils a 200-metre ribbon of fine sand and a new, elegant and comfortable wooden structure with a magnificent view of the bay and La Vigie. The furniture in the 180 Beach Club tents has been completely renewed to create a space in perfect harmony with its environment. A soothing interlude with only the Mediterranean on the horizon; a sunny and replenishing retreat in an unspoilt setting.

Monte-Carlo Beach cares about the environment and is committed to protecting local biodiversity. Pointe de la Vigie, within the establishment, and its superb pine forest is an LPO (Bird Protection League) refuge. Monte-Carlo Beach has built several nesting sites where more than 20 different bird species including 10 nesting and 15 protected species are welcomed.

The commitments of Monte-Carlo Beach were recently rewarded by the first “Hotel & Lodge Green” special prize. This new category honoured by the editorial teams and the judging panel of the “Hotel & Lodge Awards 2022” this year awarded Monte-Carlo Beach, in particular for to its zero-plastic and waste recycling policy and its drastic energy and water management.

Monte-Carlo Beach welcomes PAOMA, first luxury skincare brand that is ecological, ethical, organic and made in France

Designed as a natural, efficient and sustainable beauty ritual, PAOMA harvests the best of nature and makes unique, organic-certified formulas which cherish all skin types and nurture well-being. The entire PAOMA brand is COSMEBIO labelled and COSMOS Organic-certified by ECOCERT, with 99 to 100% of natural origin ingredients and made in France. All PAOMA products come in pink lacquered recyclable and refillable containers, and the products that need to be rinsed off are accompanied with PAOMA 100% organic cotton washable squares. This approach is completely consistent with that of Monte-Carlo Beach, where taking care of oneself and the environment is a natural part of everyday life.

Soft mobility

Monte-Carlo Beach launches its first 100% electric shuttle between hotels and thus reinforces its commitments to softer forms of transport with:

– An electric courtesy vehicle
– Four charging points for electric vehicles
– A station for electric bikes
– Electric utility vehicles

BANGKOK – September 9, 2021 – Within just a few hours of the US, Belize is known for its warm and turquoise water, incredible snorkeling and diving, and active and vibrant culture. Guests and residents at Six Senses Belize will experience something out of this world as the team has worked tirelessly to strike the perfect balance between vivacious beach life and small-scale, secluded island bliss so that residents can enjoy either or both, any time they wish.

Exhilarating Adventure and Isolated Bliss

The resort and residences are uniquely set across two areas. The sun-drenched stretch of secret beachfront on Ambergris Caye, the most sought-after destination in Belize, offers an abundance of watersports, adventure and wild nights in equal measure. A five-minute boat ride away, or swim for the sporty, offers private island bliss for the secluded overwater villas, spa and wellness facilities.

This means, after hopping on a short flight, guests can check in to their desert island abode, enjoy a swim or massage in paradise and sundowners on the deck and then get dressed up to head over the water for a fun night out with family and friends all on their first day.

“Throughout, the emphasis has been placed on sensitive integration of landscaping to connect guests with nature and allow for greater privacy and coveted ‘desert island’ appeal,” says Neil Jacobs, Chief Executive Officer of Six Senses. “We’ve drawn inspiration from local craft and Belizean life, capturing the spirit and history of Mayan architecture and local heritage. Everything has been done to embody a new generation of travelers, eager to make memories, while preserving the island for future generations.”

Secret Beach

Secret Beach is the main activities hub for Six Senses Belize. This 18-acre (7-hectare) part of the resort boasts a pristine stretch of private beachfront and is just up the coast from lively San Pedro on desirable Ambergris Caye. It offers an eclectic mix of daytime and nighttime amenities, anchored by the Experience Center. There are plans for organic gardens complemented by a labyrinth, mushroom hut, cooking school, food market and teens’ club. Another outdoor pool, ice cream parlor, overwater restaurant and Cinema Paradiso offer nightlife, socializing and Belizean culture galore. Secret Beach will also be the main location for watersports with a dive center, Marine Discovery and a wide range of activities on offer. Secret Beach is home to 24 residences, ranging from two-bedroom to seven-bedroom, available to purchase.

Guests will enjoy unspoiled horizon views from the overwater sunset bar at Six Senses Belize. © Six Senses Hotels Resort Spas

Island Life

There will be 45 resort villas and a handful of residences for purchase also located on a 10-acre (4-hectare) private island, 1.7 miles (2.7 kilometers) across the water from Secret Beach. During the short boat ride, guests pass a large sandbar, with unimaginably turquoise waters. This also belongs to the property and will be the setting for private picnics, reconnection experiences and “I do’s”. The current arrival to the southeast of the island is like entering an untouched, mysterious paradise and Six Senses Belize will maintain this sensation. It also stages the first glimpse into the island, where its inner wetlands and mangrove forests are at their most pristine. This landscape will be sustainably protected as a natural preservation area for the existing flora and fauna and will be made accessible to connect to the island’s biotope. The south of the island also enjoys unspoiled horizon views, which will be shared by an overwater sunset bar, All-Day Dining Village, BBQ Hut serving freshly cooked seasonal catches, communal outdoor pool, and children’s club.

Along its Eastern and Western shores, there will be 44 one- and two-bedroom resort villas and a three-bedroom retreat villa, most of which will be overwater bungalows accessed by jetties. Blurring the lines between indoor and outdoor living, they offer a place to reconnect that’s totally in tune with the mangrove reserve, sea, wildlife and nature all around.

Built around the natural lagoons to the north of the preservation area, the Six Senses Spa and Wellness Village will be the beating heart of the resort. This offers inward-looking, healing experiences among the existing mangroves at the edge of the wetlands. Initially, it will feature an Alchemy Bar, Holistic Anti-Aging Center, fitness center, indoor and outdoor treatment areas, Temazcal lodge and outdoor yoga pavilion. Spa treatments and wellness programs will focus on natural healing, energy medicine and traditional Mayan practices. Nestled within the organic gardens to the north is the plant-forward Leaf restaurant and a raised viewing lounge, offering a completely different experience, high in the canopy and framing the pure night sky.

Residences

An exceptional opportunity for a handful of owners, the island is also home to a collection of three, four, and five-bedroom residences, available for purchase. Organized along a central breezeway, and rising organically in and around natural foliage, the buildings allow for an indoor-outdoor lifestyle that is typical for Belize and the Caribbean climate. Loosely dispersed, they eliminate any sense of boundaries to form a continuous landscape experience as a barefoot sandy beach community while existing flora will protect privacy and shield the structures from each other.

Here “feet in the sand” has evolved into an architectural concept, living within the sublime landscape, protected and shaded in a casual yet refined way. Passive design strategies are employed to reduce energy consumption. Each residence is placed between the precious mangrove forest and estuary on one side and its own expansive stretch of beach on the other, framing wide views to each.

The design sets the stage for diverse experiences of the landscape, ocean and balance of community and seclusion. The western residences have ocean views from most rooms and beach access with a lifestyle that engages with the ground. The structures further east provide raised living rooms with access to wide horizon views and connecting to the pool gardens below. In addition to the generous master suite, there is a separate lock-off villa, which may be rented out separately at the owner’s convenience.

The residences are raised on stilts in a typical Belizean style, with open and spacious interiors that seamlessly blend the indoor with the tropical outdoor. © Six Senses Hotels Resort Spas

Sustainable Development

With longevity and low environmental impact in mind, renewable wood is the principal material used in the facades and buildings are modular and prefabricated to keep on-site construction to a minimum. Buildings are orientated to maximize passive solar strategies for energy efficiency and to capture cooling breezes. Green roof areas will provide an extra layer of insulation and thermal mass, while other areas will be covered with discreet solar panels.

The natural vegetation along the beach zone will be left intact, preserving this natural barrier and there are plans to re-vegetate red mangroves and plant species to further preserve the beach and serve as a roosting and foraging habitat for birdlife. The overwater structures are built in such a way as to provide a benthic habitat to enhance productivity and biodiversity as well as fish life.

Design Principles

The resort and residences are the result of a design collaboration between architects Studio Caban, interior design house Maed Collective, landscape designer Maat Handasa, and sustainability experts XCO2.

The choice of materials and interior finishes is inspired by an understanding of the cultural and natural local resources, exuding a contemporary and casual island vibe. The soft materials and harmonious blending with the surrounding nature invite guests to intuitively unwind and become fully enveloped by the island.

John Turley, a member of the development team says: “Welcome to Six Senses Belize, a world more magical than you could imagine. You’ll be struck by the stunning 81-degree turquoise water, the laid-back vibe, and genuine smiles that greet you off the plane. Belizean hospitality is second to none, and you will not find a broader array of activities, experiences, and memories to be had in a smaller package! Our world has changed a lot, and increasingly we all crave an escape. Six Senses Belize offers a select number of families the chance to start a new legacy in a spectacular, safe, and accessible place. This project is unlike anything you’ve ever experienced, and it’s right on your doorstep.”

Six Senses Belize is targeting an opening by mid-2025. Belize is just 1.5 hours from Miami and 5 hours from New York. There are several onwards transfer options including via boat or helicopter.

Therefore, the postcard app Postando presents five accommodations whose indescribable views allow every viewer to escape from the everyday life. If you want to share your loved ones’ holiday happiness, the app makes it easy to send photos as real postcards via your smartphone. Grace Hotel Santorin, Greek
The Grace Hotel Santorin, which belongs to the Auberge Resorts Collection, has a special charm: it was carved out of the island’s rock and fascinates with its minimalist white-blue buildings lined up along the cliff. Its architecture is known as the archetypal building style of the Greek island worlds. The lagoon-like infinity pool offers an incomparable panoramic view of the Cycladic caldera, which is partially submerged in the sea. At 363 meters above sea level, the Champagne Lounge is just the right place to watch the blue Aegean turn into a golden sea at a picturesque sunset. Moments like these create memories you want to capture and share with your loved ones. With the app Postando, vacationers can send this breathtaking scenery quickly and easily in the form of a real postcard. Up to six smartphone snapshots can be easily uploaded to the postcard app to personalize the back of the postcard and share the beautiful scenery with friends and family.

Ahwahnee Hotel, USA
In the heart of Yosemite National Park in the Californian Sierra Nevada, the luxurious Ahwahnee Hotel surprises with a strong contrast to the monotonous everyday life. The central park location makes the hotel a popular accommodation for active vacationers and adventurers. Named after the local Indian settlement, “Ahwahnee”, it blends harmoniously into the natural surroundings with a granite façade and rustic wooden elements. The hotel offers phenomenal views of the iconic sights of the National Park: The “Half Dome”, an impressive rock formation and the “Yosemite Falls”, which are among the highest waterfalls in the world.

Kayumanis Ubud Private Villas & Spa, Indonesia
Not far from Bali’s cultural capital Ubud, the intimate oasis of peace Kayumanis Ubud Private Villas & Spa is located in the heart of a mystical highland region. Surrounded by blossoming flowers and cinnamon groves, guests are invited to indulge in a variety of spa treatments and learn about the fine Balinese cuisine in a cooking class. One of the resort’s highlights is the infinity pool, which visually blends in with the deep green expanse of the surrounding tropical rainforest. From there you can watch the gently flowing Ayung River, which radiates an incredibly calm and comfortable atmosphere and rounds off the view of the magnificent jungle scenery.

Soul Collection Penthouse, South Africa
One of the most spectacular accommodations in Cape Town is located on the 17th floor of the Horizon Bay building on Table Bay Beach: The Penthouse of the Soul Collection. From this elevated position, you can admire the city’s imposing landmark – Table Mountain – whose striking plateau-shaped silhouette stands out against the orange-tinted morning and evening sky. The glass fronts of the penthouse allow an undisturbed view of the Atlantic Ocean and the surrounding miles of sandy beaches. This region is a hotspot for adventurous surfers who dare to jump on the waves towering meters high – such a scenery is often captured by the viewers on the beach in a video. With the smart app from Postando, you can then share the experience you have just captured with friends and family: Simply use the Postando app to select the desired postcard motif and greeting text as well as the previously recorded video from the media library or record a video directly via the app. The video message is then printed on the postcard with an individually created QR code and can be easily scanned and viewed via the recipient’s app.

PARKROYAL COLLECTION on Pickering, Singapore
For big city lovers, the luxurious hotel, PARKROYAL COLLECTION on Pickering, in the island state of Singapore is just the right place to relax. With its futuristic architecture, which is characterized by glass and green exterior facades, this hotel enhances the centre of Singapore. The term “urban jungle” takes on a whole new meaning with the view from this hotel: A total of 300 meters of planted jungle landscape are spread over six balconies, behind which the skyline of Singapore unfolds. The colourful cabanas at the edge of the infinity pool create a comfortable lounge atmosphere and invite you to relax and enjoy local delicacies. The roof terrace in the COLLECTION Club Lounge offers a 360-degree panoramic view of the entire city skyline.

These unique views are often captured in pictures to share with friends and family. With Postando, users send these memories as postcards in a very personal way: Simply design a personalized postcard using your own pictures in the app, compose a personal message and select the happy recipient. The self-designed postcard lands directly in the mailbox of the loved one and is a very special surprise. Thanks to the video function, Postando users can now even integrate moving images of their experiences and share them with friends and family more intensively. With the code VIEW, the first postcard is free for new users via the app until the end of August. Further information can be found at www.postando.de.
