Polo Team Azerbaijan joins FIP EC in Villa a Sesta: After the great success of the Azerbaijan Land Of Fire Polo Team at the Snow Polo World Cup in St Moritz in January 2018, the National Polo Team is now in training for the FIP Polo European Championship at Villa a Sesta (Toscany/Italy) in September.
ARAF together with World Polo have decided to concentrate all efforts and means toward the first participation of the Team at a Grass FIP European Championship. Therefore there will be no Arena Polo World Cup in Baku this year.
ARAF is in full swing in building the two full size Polo Fields in Gabala. The stables for 500 horses, all facilities and the raw fields are ready for action in 2019.
The next Polo Tournament in Azerbaijan will be the 1st Polo World Cup on full size fields in September 2019 in Gabala! In preparation for the 13th FIP European Polo Championship in September 2020 with 8 National Polo Teams!
