HONG KONG POLO ASSOCIATION (HKG) will be the first Asian team to play the POLO RIDER CUP, competing against the Chantilly Polo Club (FRA), Hamburger Polo Club (GER), Dos Lunas Polo Club (SPA), Moscow Polo Club (RUS), Evviva Polo St. Moritz (SUI), Düsseldorf Polo Club (GER), Las Brisas Polo Club of Chicago (USA), Empire Polo Club of Coachella Valley (USA), Deauville International Polo Club (FRA) and Polo Park Zürich (SUI). The POLO RIDER CUP will be held from 10 to 20 June 2021 at the Polo Club of Chantilly, north of Paris.
The Hong Kong Polo team will comprise the following players:

3. Thierry Vetois (+3)
4. Brieuc Rigaux (+6)
Raphael Le Masne de Chermont, Vice-President of Hong Kong Polo Association, comments: “Polo was brought to Hong Kong by the British Army in the 60s and left the territory with the handover to China in 1997. Today enthusiast polo players fly the Hong Kong flag around the world like nomads from the steps of Mongolia to the fields of China and South East Asia. We are delighted to defend the Hong Kong colours at the POLO RIDER CUP in Chantilly and compete with a curation of some of the best International Polo clubs around the world.”
