Poloclub Schloss Ebreichsdorf
About the Club
Polo was established in Austria around 1910. Baron Richard Drasche-Wartinberg, whose grandfather was one of the founding members of the Riding and Polo Club of Vienna, re-introduced polo to Austria in March 1991 by opening the Polo Club Schloss Ebreichsdorf.
The club is considered one of Europe’s most beautiful polo facilities. Within the huge and unique park area you will find stables for more than 130 horses, training area, paddocks as well as 3 polo fields which are in use during the season from April to October.
Tournaments – at low,- medium – and high goal level- which are open and free of charge for visitors and spectators, are played regularly on its grounds. The Austrian Polo Association (APA) as well as the Central European Polo Association (CEPA) have its registered offices in Ebreichsdorf.
