II. Abierto Argentino de Polo Femenino 2018

With the victories of El Overo Z7 UAE and La Dolfina Brava the most important tournament of the world in women’s polo started on Monday, the teams were presented in the evening in Palermo.

In the Alfredo Lalor headquarters of the AAP in Pilar the II. Argentine Open of Women’s Polo started on Monday. 4 women’s teams of a 24 to 32 goal handicap level with the best players from Argentina, the United States, England and Kenya will start here.

On the first matchday, the defending champions of La Dolfina Brava defeated their opponents from Team Alegria-HPA 1875 with a clear 17-2.
(La Dolfina Brava: 5-0, 6-0, 8-2, 10-2, 15-2 and 17-2.)

In the second game of the first day, the 2017 runner-up – now under the team name El Overo Z7 UAE – defeated his opponent Team Santa María de Lobos 17-3 (Overo Z7 UAE: 3-0, 8-1, 11-1, 14-3, 16-3 and 17-3).

The second matchday of the tournament is Thursday, 6. December, also in Pilar. The final of the II Abierto Argentino de Polo Femenino 2018 will take place at the Campo Argentino de Polo in Palermo, as a prelude to the decisive game of the 125th HSBC Argentine Polo Open.
